A New Couch - First World Problem

We got a new couch!
Bill has been complaining for years that our house didn't have a proper couch for him to lay on and read. He's over 6 feet tall and the loveseats we had in the living room and family room just weren't cutting it. We had gotten the family room set many years ago for our old house. The set was just a little too big for this house but it worked so I didn't worry about it much. Then when the room was painted white, the cream color just grated on me. For about a year I have periodically looked for a new couch. I was looking for leather because we have cats and cats have fur and leather is the best solution for that. But then ...one day....I was looking at the IKEA website and I saw......

*swoon*

I looked at the photo several times and sighed longingly.
It was PINK. They call it 'light red' but it looks pink. What would Bill say....
Then one day when Bill got home from work I told him
"I think I found a couch I like."
He said "I've been wanting a couch. I hate those love seats- let's go look at it."
Whoa.
And here I thought I would have to warm him up to
the idea over several weeks!
So off we went.

And came home with it. Squeeeeeee!!!!!
It's velvety and the entire cover is removable and machine washable. It has a 10 year warranty. And as always with IKEA, we have 3 months to try it out. It's a dreamy light red/hot pink/bright!orburnt orange/salmon color. Haha! Actually, it's just my camera. It doesn't capture the color accurately. Ever. The IKEA photo above is closest to reality.

Now I have wall to wall to wall furniture. Yes that makes me TWITCHY and CLAUSTROPHOBIC but that's not the REAL problem because a couple of people are interested in buying the old set.
My first world problem is, I have a NEW! couch and I don't know where to put it....

This room is small and doesn't have a lot of floor space.

I have to keep the computer desk (for now) and I absolutely love that red cabinet. And we will be shopping for two new side chairs. Ideally, the couch should go where the red cabinet is. I wanted to try moving the red cabinet to the left of fireplace.....but it is 1/4 INCH TOO WIDE. Argh. I could move it to where blue floor lamp is but.....

...with the desk, window, red cabinet all lined up in a row, plus two (future) chairs.....not going to work for me.

I could put the red cabinet where the desk is but then I don't know where to put the desk! Everywhere I envision it in the room it's a no go.

If I put the couch in front of the window.... I think the cats will be camped out on the back of it all day long so they can watch birds outside. Constant cat hair/ squished cushions....Plus....long line with desk again.
If I leave it where it is, it COULD work but....

It would be pretty crowded on this side.
And that paper shredder and printer.....
I don't want to talk about it. Ugh.

Plus I really want to be able to see the sides- it's one of the things I fell in love with....

And the front just looks so scrumptious and inviting.....

I don't want to hide it's BEST side from view.....
And FURTHERMORE, Bill doesn't like how I've always had the loveseat in the MIDDLE OF THE ROOM. But that was the only place I could put it to make things work. And why we HAD short loveseats. Somehow or other I will MAKE this work. I absolutely love this couch.

I see some standing and staring and some deep thinking and LOTS of furniture arranging in my near future...
